<h3>The Opportunity</h3>
<p>We are seeking a Senior Consultant for our Workforce Advisory (WFA) group within our People Consulting practice. In joining our team, you will gain valuable experience and knowledge working across various capabilities, service offerings and industries. Working in multidisciplinary teams and directly with leaders of major organizations, you will bring diverse perspectives to every challenge. <h3>Key Responsibilities</h3>
<h3>Client Delivery</h3>
<ul>
<li>Support delivery of solutions across EY’s Workforce Advisory service offerings, including operating model design, organization design, change management, learning and development, leadership development, culture transformation and DEI, strategic workforce planning, HR transactions, talent assessments and strategies, ensuring high‑quality outcomes within expected timeframes.</li>
<li>Lead or mentor junior team members to produce high‑quality deliverables, demonstrating critical thinking, storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to convey key messages effectively to various audiences (including executives) through slideshow presentations and collaboration tools (e.g. Miro).</li>
<li>Drive project management activities for the engagement team, ensuring meetings are scheduled, minutes captured, and actions tracked.</li>
<li>Write clear, effective communications tailored to the client/audience with support from the project lead.</li>
<li>Build strong relationships with client, project team and internal EY team.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Business Development</h3>
<ul>
<li>Lead development of proposal sections, tailoring language and services to the client context.</li>
<li>Proactively support on‑selling through excellent delivery, ongoing client relationships, and shaping next steps or future work.</li>
<li>Identify and generate new business opportunities by understanding EY’s service offerings and contributing to on‑sell and expansion conversations.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Practice Development</h3>
<ul>
<li>Support and contribute to practice and service offering development efforts and/or initiatives with guidance and mentorship from senior team members.</li>
<li>Balance project delivery with contributions to practice development and service offering efforts.</li>
<li>Share relevant learnings with the team, ensuring innovation and leading practice are at the forefront of our solutions.</li>
<li>Understand the WFA practice strategy and its integration with EY’s broader operating model.</li>
</ul>
<h3>People Leadership and Teaming</h3>
<ul>
<li>Actively contribute to a positive team culture, leading by example and fostering collaboration and open communication.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively with the WFA team and other EY service lines.</li>
<li>Engage in learning activities throughout the year, ensuring minimum learning requirements are met and learning goals achieved.</li>
<li>Seek feedback from junior team members, peers, and supervisors for self‑improvement and act on development feedback.</li>
<li>Mentor peers and junior staff, providing constructive feedback and sharing expertise to aid professional development.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Technical Skills for Success</h3>
<ul>
<li>Basic knowledge of at least one WFA offering (change management, operating model design, organization design, learning and development, culture transformation and DEI, strategic workforce planning, talent optimization).</li>
<li>Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, MS Project) and tools such as Power BI and Smartsheet.</li>
<li>Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools to present insights and support decision‑making.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Leadership & Business Skills for Success</h3>
<ul>
<li>Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.</li>
<li>Excellent organizational skills; able to manage multiple deadlines and tasks across project delivery, business development, practice development, and leadership.</li>
<li>Outstanding interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with high emotional intelligence.</li>
<li>Strong work ethic, high motivation, proactivity, and a growth mindset.</li>
<li>Strategic thinker who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.</li>
<li>Ability to coach and mentor peers and junior staff to achieve outcomes in a timely manner.</li>
<li>Fluency in English required for client interaction at national and global levels.</li>
<li>Flexibility to travel as needed.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor’s degree and 3–5 years related work experience; or a graduate degree and 2–4 years related experience.</li>
<li>Preferably professional service experience with a global consulting firm or niche consultancy involving large‑scale projects.</li>
<li>Experience in one or more of: change management, organizational design, operating model design, culture change & DEI, workforce planning, talent strategy.</li>
<li>Project management experience.</li>
<li>Post‑graduate qualification (preferred).</li>
<li>PROSCI or other industry‑standard change‑management certification considered an asset.</li>
<li>Willingness to travel and work in a hybrid environment.</li>
</ul>

<p>Salary range for this role in British Columbia is $88,000 – $132,000. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including education, experience, skills, and location.</p>
