Pharmaceutical Sales Representative – Halifax/Moncton Territory


We are seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial professional with a strong passion for the pharmaceutical industry to join our growing team.


An opportunity is available for an ambitious Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to manage the Halifax/Moncton territory. In this role, you will be responsible for building and expanding the territory while promoting our portfolio of behind-the-counter and prescription (Rx) products, contributing to our continued industry-leading performance.


The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of proven pharmaceutical sales success and established relationships with physicians and pharmacists within the territory.

About the Role


As a Community Sales Unit Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving growth across both established brands and new product launches. Your territory will include Halifax, Moncton, and surrounding key communities, where you will strategically prioritize your efforts to deliver the greatest impact. You will engage directly with:



  • Promoting the Company’s products to healthcare professionals, pharmacists, and any other decision makers or stakeholders that could influence the sales volume of the Company’s products in the territory.

  • Developing relationships with, and managing key accounts including wholesalers, and retail pharmacy chains.

  • Developing relationships with key opinion leaders and key health care opinion leaders, influencers and key hospitals to promote the Company’s products.

  • Together with your manager, developing and managing strategic and tactical sales plans to meet Company sales objectives.

  • Track the progress of the business through Sales Tools (OCE) and other reports and mechanisms defined by the director of Sales

  • Managing sales expense budgets to deliver sales and contribution margin objectives.

  • Building and maintaining sales of the Company’s products in accordance with annual budgets and objectives provided by your manager.

  • Reporting details of sales activities and results on a timely basis and as requested and specified by the Company from time to time.

  • Reporting details of any competitive activity and other market conditions in the territory.

  • Travel to destinations that may require overnight travel.


We Are Looking for Someone Who:



  • Bachelor’s degree in science or related field

  • Has 5+ years of proven track record of success in pharmaceutical sales, with experience calling on physicians and pharmacies in community settings

  • Builds trusted, long‑term relationships with healthcare professionals and is recognized as a valued partner

  • Brings existing relationships with targeted physicians and pharmacists across Nova Scotia and New Brunswick

  • Is highly organized, self‑motivated, and thrives in an environment that values autonomy and accountability

  • Demonstrates strength in territory management, strategic planning, and execution against business objectives

  • Holds a valid driver’s license and has access to a reliable vehicle


This is a home‑based position, with Halifax and surrounding areas as the primary base of operations, reporting to the Eastern Regional Manager.
