Our success is built on the deep technical expertise of our team and the long-term partnerships we create with our clients.</p><p>We are currently seeking Intermediate and Senior Process Engineers with strong technical expertise to join our Calgary-based engineering team. These roles offer the opportunity to contribute to impactful projects across oil & gas, mining, and renewable energy, while mentoring and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams.</p><p><br /></p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Deliver high-quality process engineering design and technical solutions for a variety of industrial projects.</li><li>Perform conceptual studies, pre-FEED and FEED studies (FEL1, FEL2, FEL3).</li><li>Develop and review key deliverables including:<ul><li>Block Flow Diagrams (BFDs)</li><li>Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs)</li><li>Heat & Material Balances (HMBs)</li><li>Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)</li><li>Line Designation Tables (LDTs)</li><li>Shutdown Keys, Process Control Narratives, and Design Basis Memoranda (DBMs).</li></ul></li><li>Apply strong troubleshooting and debottlenecking skills for brownfield and greenfield projects.</li><li>Conduct process simulations using HYSYS, Symmetry, or equivalent tools.</li><li>Participate in or lead risk assessment activities (PHA, HAZOP, HAZID, LOPA).</li><li>Support or act as Engineer of Record (EoR) where applicable.</li><li>Provide regulatory and compliance knowledge, ensuring designs meet requirements (ABSA, ANSI, API, and other codes/standards).</li><li>Conduct field verifications, as-builts, and site support activities.</li><li>Communicate effectively with internal teams, project managers, clients, and other disciplines.</li><li>For Senior Engineers: mentor junior staff, oversee deliverables, and lead discipline scope within projects.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Qualifications</p><ul><li>Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent discipline).</li><li>Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Alberta required; additional jurisdictions considered an asset.</li><li>Intermediate level: 58 years of relevant process engineering experience.</li><li>Senior level: 10+ years of progressive process engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.</li><li>Strong background in oil & gas production facilities, gas compression, gathering systems, pipeline facilities, fractionation, turbo-expander cryogenic plants, dehydration, waste heat recovery, renewable energy processes, and/or loading terminals.</li><li>Proficiency in industry-standard simulation and design software (HYSYS, Symmetry, or equivalent).</li><li>Proven ability to work effectively in multi-discipline EPCM environments.</li></ul></p></p>
