<p>Title: Project Controls Coordinator II </p><p>***(Min 3 years’ experience, no more than 7 years of experience) </p><p>Duration: 1 year (09/22/2025 to 09/21/2026)</p><p>Location: Edmonton or Calgary</p><p>Hybrid Model: In-Office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday), Remote (Wednesday & Friday)</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Job Duties </strong></p><p>Focus on providing “Total Control” function on all assigned projects, consisting of:</p><p>• Overall project cost, including forecasting and variance analysis of field costs as well as internal projects costs. Provide monitoring, reporting, and control services throughout the project lifecycle</p><p>• Provide in-depth analysis of projects, especially from the field control side to inform of current situations/progress and enable proactive communication to mitigate risks and exploit opportunities</p><p>• Collaborate with contractors to deliver training and support for EcoSys LEMs (Labor, Equipment, and Materials), while ensuring they provide correct rates and estimates</p><p>• Support a team of Project Controls Advisors (PCAs) to set up, receive, and attest LEMs</p><p>• Assist as a dedicated Field Cost Analyst (FCA) resource for high risk, high complexity projects</p><p>• Generate regular and ad hoc analysis including graphs, summary tables, and presentations</p><p>• Assist the Project Engineer/Manager in Project Scope Management by providing insight into scope definition, verification, change control and financial health of projects</p><p>• Prepare expenditure profiles, work force histograms, comparative capital cost estimates for projects and total program monthly forecast summaries</p><p>• Work with internal team to understand incurred field costs and Customers for indirect costs and compare against budget and monthly forecast values</p><p>• Track Key Performance Indicators and work with support groups to improve overall execution of projects</p><p>• Prepare project status with variance analysis and reasoning for Senior and Project Management</p><p>• Forecast project and construction costs with detailed cost variance analysis</p><p>• Project controls for project lifecycle in a proactive manner</p><p>• Preparation of high volume of analysis for project status</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Education & Experience:</strong></p><p>• A diploma, degree or related construction or operational training and/or experience.</p><p>• Minimum of 3 years (NO MORE THAN 7-YEARS) of previous related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.</p><p>• Field experience is desired</p><p>• Construction experience related to cost and scheduling controls of multi discipline projects.</p><p>• Industrial Construction experience, and interfaces with the Engineering, Procurement, Contracting, Execution, and Commissioning phases of the project are highly desirable.</p><p>• General understanding of pipeline and terminal operations.</p><p>• Excellent oral and written communications skills.</p><p>• High proficiency with MS Excel (v-lookups, pivot tables, etc.)</p><p>• Software experience with: MS Office Suite and Oracle or SAP.</p><p>• Power BI experience a plus</p><p>• EcoSys experience is a plus</p><p>• Understanding of Earned Value Management techniques for tracking project performance preferred</p><p>• Problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skills.</p><p>• Collaborative, team- and service-oriented work style.</p><p>• An attitude of being a go-getter who can run things to ground</p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
