Qualicare Home care is currently seeking compassionate Caregivers and Personal Support Workers (PSWs) to join our team and provide one-on-one, in-home care to clients in the community.

Various shifts available (days, nights, 4-5 hour shifts, up to 8-12 hour shifts, etc). No 1-2 hour shifts!

We serve the following areas: North York, Toronto, Etobicoke, Vaughan.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Support client with activities of daily living, not limited to:

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Medication Reminders
• Ambulation of client
• Companionship to client
• Ability to follow care-plan
• Documentation/Charting

Requirements:

• Personal Support Worker Certificate or equivalent (eg. foreign trained nurse).
• Current CPR/First Aid training
• Current Police Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Screen or be willing to obtain one.
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Fully vaccinated against covid (2 doses minimum).
• Access to internet/mobile phone.
• Great support and teamwork
