CE Transportation is a logistic company operating throughout Ontario and Quebec. We have our own fleet comprising of Straight Trucks, Tractors and Trailers.
We are Looking for an experienced Reefer Mechanic that will repair and maintain reefer units on our Trucks and Trailers.
Job Position and Details:
Position: Reefer Mechanic
Full Time Job: Monday to Friday
Hourly Wage: $35-$42
Job Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain refrigerated truck and trailer units to ensure proper temperature control.
- Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and pre-trip inspections (PTI) on reefer units.
- Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, electrical systems, and electronic controls on refrigeration units.
- Inspect, repair, or replace components including compressors, condensers, evaporators, fans, belts, hoses, sensors, and controllers.
- Service refrigeration systems including refrigerant recovery, leak detection, evacuation, and charging.
- Test units after repairs to verify correct operation and temperature accuracy.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must have:
- Experience with Thermo King and/or Carrier Transicold units.
- Knowledge of diesel engines, HVAC/refrigeration systems, and electronics.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
