In this vital role, you will take the lead in ensuring residents receive high-quality, individualized nutritional care that supports their health, safety, and overall well-being. As our Dietitian, you will:<br /><br />Lead clinical nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with the Minimum Data Set – Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS-RAI).<br /><br />Plan and oversee a five-week rotating menu in alignment with Canada’s Food Guide.<br /><br />Collaborate with healthcare providers and the kitchen team to ensure dietary needs, including texture-modified diets and enteral feeding, are met.<br /><br />Provide education to residents, families, and team members on nutrition, hydration, and safe feeding practices.<br /><br />Participate in quality improvement initiatives, Resident Council, Family Advisory Committee, and interdisciplinary care conferences.<br /><br />Key Responsibilities<br /><br />Conduct initial and ongoing nutritional assessments.<br /><br />Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans.<br /><br />Provide leadership in restorative feeding, pleasurable dining, and hydration programs.<br /><br />Document resident care and maintain detailed dietary records.<br /><br />Contribute to resident safety and uphold ethical standards<br /><br />Why Join Us:<br /><br />At The Brenda Strafford Foundation, we are more than a workplace—we are a united team.
