DescriptionThis Volunteer Placement is located in: JamaicaEligibility: Open to Canadian Citizens and Permanent Residents of Canada onlyStart Date: December 2025Language Requirements: English The overall purpose of the placement is to strengthen the capacity of the Caribbean Vulnerable Communities (CVC) to analyse and dissect research findings on the lived experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community in the Caribbean. As a volunteer, you will support the team to review, compile and analyse various research documents and findings using a gender-responsive lens. You will also support our other partner-Eastern Caribbean Alliance for Gender Equality (ECADE) with similar work. Requirements University degree in social/political sciences, international development, human rights, gender studies, social work, law, public policy, or related field. Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in a position (s) related to the promotion of gender equality, diversity including LGBTQIA+ issues. Experience working with civil society organizations. Experience with data analysis and measurement. Specialized training in gender equality and social inclusion. Experience training others in gender equality and social inclusion.
