This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong technical abilities and the ability to work independently. <br><br><strong>About the Role</strong><br />This position supports a high-volume practice primarily focused on compilation engagements, corporate tax returns, and owner-managed businesses. The work is steady, deadline-driven, and requires someone who is detail-oriented, technically strong, and highly efficient. <br><br><strong>What You’ll Do</strong><ul><li>Prepare Notice to Reader (NTR) files and working papers using CaseWare and CaseView</li><li>Complete corporate, personal, and trust tax returns in Taxprep</li><li>Work through multiple files with limited supervision, hitting deadlines with accuracy</li><li>Identify and flag tax-related issues and apply a business-minded approach to client files</li><li>Communicate directly with partners in a clear, confident, and professional manner</li><li>Support a high-volume workload and adapt to occasional extended hours as needed</li><li>Contribute to a team environment with a strong work ethic and shared accountability</li></ul><strong>What You Bring</strong><ul><li>2+ years of experience in a public accounting firm</li><li>Strong proficiency in CaseWare, CaseView, and Taxprep </li><li>Enrolled in CPA program or intent to pursue </li><li>Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time across multiple files</li><li>Strong communication skills (verbal and written); fluent in English</li><li>Self-starter who can work independently and deliver high-quality results under pressure</li><li>Comfortable receiving direct feedback and working with a straightforward, high-expectation team</li></ul><strong>Why Join</strong><br />This is a unique opportunity to work directly with experienced partners and gain exposure to a large volume of small business clients.
