<b>We are looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer</b><b><br></b>
<b>Location: London, Ontario </b><br>
<b><br></b>
<b>Your Role:</b><br>
As a senior member of the electrical team, you will take the lead on projects of all scales and complexities. <b>Your responsibilities will include:</b><br>
<br>• Reviewing, approving, and stamping electrical design projects.<br>
<br>• Directing design strategies and developing solutions for complex electrical systems,<br>
including:<br>
o Power distribution and generation systems<br>
o Indoor and outdoor lighting and lighting control systems<br>
o Fire alarm systems<br>
o Voice/data communications, security/CCTV, public address, nurse call, and related<br>
infrastructure<br>
<br>• Providing technical leadership and mentorship within the electrical team.<br>
<br>• Leading audits, feasibility assessments, and investigations, and preparing detailed reports.<br>
<br>• Supporting the continuous improvement of electrical design standards and best practices.<br>
<br>• Participating in site visits, troubleshooting construction issues, and coordinating solutions with contractors and clients.<br>
<br>• Preparing project documentation, liaising with clients, contractors, and sales teams, and<br>
coordinating with other engineering disciplines.<br>
<br>• Other responsibilities as required to support project success.<br>
<br>
<b>What You Bring:</b><br>
The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise, leadership experience, and a collaborative mindset. Specifically, you will bring:<br>
<br>• Extensive design experience for complex electrical and fire alarm systems across multiple sectors, including multi-unit residential, healthcare, commercial, industrial, and<br>
institutional projects.<br>
<br>• Hands-on exposure to troubleshooting on-site control issues.<br>
<br>• Experience with medium and/or high voltage systems is an asset.<br>
<br>• Comprehensive knowledge of codes and standards, including OBC, OESC, CSA, and other relevant standards.<br>
<br>• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license in Ontario with 10+ years of design experience in the building construction industry, including at least 5 years of Canadian design experience.<br>
<br>• Proactive problem-solving skills and strong ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.<br>
<br>• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.<br>
<br>• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and team development skills, with a collaborative<br>
approach.<br>
