You will be required to work on site Monday to Friday. Your focus will span recruitment, workforce planning, employee relations, engagement, inclusivity, benefits and compensation, HR systems, data governance, policy development, and compliance with employment legislation. You'll lead our bilingual HR generalist and ensure alignment of priorities to drive business performance. If you're passionate about shaping people strategies, challenging the status quo, and creating a best-in-class employee experience, we'd love to hear from you</p><p>What You'll Do</p><ul><li>Consult and partner with Solus leadership team to enable manager self-reliance, empowerment, and the successful achievement of business results.</li><li>Coach and support leaders in implementing robust performance management processes</li><li>Ensure employee relation matters, including disciplinary, consideration of any flexible or temporary work arrangements, accommodations, working, attendance management, redundancy, and dispute resolution are managed</li><li>Ensure HR policies are operationally effective and meet employer obligations.</li><li>Ownership with ADP (Payroll & Systems Partners) effective governance recording, processing of all payroll related activities</li><li>Collaborate with Benefit provider to ensure all benefit offerings are meeting the contractual business requirements.</li><li>Lead employee engagement initiatives, ensuring action plans are in place and progress is monitored.</li><li>Oversee policy governance, ensuring all HR policies are compliant, up-to-date, and effectively implemented.</li><li>Assists in translating Company policy and plans into communications that can be readily understood by all employees.</li></ul><p>What You'll Bring</p><ul><li>Must have experience with a new start-up operation and one that is hiring skilled auto body talent that will grow to employees across Canada (currently focused on Ontario and Quebec)</li><li>Bachelor's degree in human resources management or an equivalent combination of education and experience.</li><li>7- 8 years of experience in a complex and changing HR generalist role.</li><li>Experience operating within a matrixed, multi-site environment</li><li>Strong leadership and mentoring skills,</li><li>Strong communication skills (both written and oral), including the ability to flex communication and style to the relevant audience.</li><li>Bilingual (French and English) communication is an asset</li><li>Strong analytic skills and the ability to synthesize issues and inputs in order to anticipate implications and actions.</li><li>Participation in the development of appropriate short and long range HR operational strategies and plans.</li><li>Compliance with local, Provincial and federal laws and regulations related to benefits and benefits record-keeping.</li></ul><p>What You'll Get</p><ul><li>The salary band for this position ranges from $90,000 to $130,000.
