Senior Murex Integration Specialist

We provide end‑to‑end project services and have delivered over 200 successful Murex projects across all major asset‑classes and sectors including investment banking, asset management, corporate treasury and insurance.</p>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Must know the following technologies: MxMLExchange, RTBS/MDCS, Datamart.</li>
<li>Knowledge and hands‑on experience in implementing, developing and supporting various MX.3 proprietary modules for Enterprise Integration such as MxML Exchange, Datamart, MX.3 Accessibility and Extensibility APIs (.Net, Java, C++, and SOAP/REST Web services), Real‑time bridging service, Market Data Cache Server, MX.3 Connectivity 2.0 framework, MX.3 Packaged interfaces including (but not limited to) MarkitWire, DTCC Global Trade Repository, MarginSphere, IceLink, FXAll, Market Data Import Tool, MX.3 End of Day processes and Trade Life Cycle Management using workflows engine (at least 3 years).</li>
<li>Build new up/down stream integration(s).</li>
<li>Convert existing integration point with Murex version change.</li>
<li>Development of MxML (Workflows, Exchange).</li>
<li>XSL / Transformation.</li>
<li>Scripting (bsh, ksh, etc.).</li>
<li>Assist existing support group(s) in resolving integration‑related requests or issues.</li>
<li>Contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables.</li>
<li>Perform various levels of testing for assigned deliverables as well as participate in formal release cycles (SIT/UAT).</li>
<li>Liaise with technical team(s) to resolve environment related issues and necessary enhancements in preparation for cloud deployment.</li>
<li>Analyze, formulate, propose, develop and/or contribute to overall solutions as per project deliverables.</li>
<li>Provide professional services to Murex clients: services in the domain of system integration, business intelligence and data flows through the full lifecycle of MX.3; interact professionally with Murex colleagues and clients.</li>
<li>Build, test, and provide support to clients on MX.3 integration modules; contribute to project implementations; develop trade workflows and interfaces to set up communication between external platforms and Murex.</li>
<li>Handle support cases from notification to resolution and validation.</li>
<li>Participate in business as usual and project support: follow‑up of client open cases through email, CRM portal, phone calls and on‑site visits.</li>
<li>Develop an understanding of ongoing activities and manage own deliverables / progress.</li>
<li>Manage bug fixes and enhancements with the Product Team; integrate with various teams to deliver the right solution to client.</li>
<li>Work with technologies including SQL, Unix, and Murex proprietary standards like Murex Scripting Language (MSL), XMLF, etc.</li>
<li>Use SQL for end‑of‑day report generation, STP (straight‑through processing) failure issues, P&L evaluation, and analyzing issues in trade feed and status.</li>
<li>Create shell/python scripts for automation of day‑to‑day manual activities.</li>
<li>Understand requirements, analyze the problem areas of the current system and behavior of pre‑trade logic and post‑trade workflow, and integration points.</li>

<li>4+ years experience with Murex Datamart and workflows.</li>
<li>Must know any 2 of the following technologies: MxMLExchange, RTBS/MDCS, Datamart, C2.0 Product interfaces.</li>
<li>SQL; XML; MxML; UNIX; Scripting languages.</li>
<li>Hands‑on experience with Murex MxML Exchange development.</li>
<li>Knowledge of pre‑trade framework along with MSL scripting language.</li>
<li>Strong Knowledge of SQL/RDBMS technology.</li>
<li>Familiarity with UNIX/Linux operating systems.</li>
<li>Strong personality, logical and analytical skills.</li>
<li>Detail‑oriented, quick learner and self‑starter.</li>
<li>Good verbal and written communication skills.</li>
<li>Strong organization skills.</li>
<li>Previous Experience in Murex Integration (MxML/WF).</li>
<li>Strong DataMart Murex knowledge is a must.</li>
<li>Rigorous attention to detail.</li>
