Job Description

<p>I am hiring a Senior Software Developer on behalf of a well-established global operations organization with an office in Vancouver.</p><p><br></p><p>In your new role as a Senior Software Developer, you will be involved in the development, deployment and monitoring of highly available, highly robust services, working as a member of an agile software development team and will contribute to improving and evolving company's commercially established suite of products. </p><p><br></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>Play a major role in cross-functional, agile development team alongside Product, QA, and other technical stakeholders</li><li>Design and implement solutions for complex problems</li><li>Deliver tangible value to customers by helping plan and design software release packages</li><li>Leverage modern tools to investigate and resolve challenging customer issues</li><li>Promote a culture of continuous improvement and technical excellence within the development team</li><li>Lead key technical initiatives to enhance team productivity and improve quality</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Qualification & Skills:</b></p><p><br></p><ul><li>A minimum of 7 years of work experience as a Software Developer with at least 2 years in a senior role</li><li>Experience across the entire development lifecycle including design, development, unit and automated testing, deployment, and monitoring</li><li>Proficiency in developing cross-platform applications in C++mainly and C# nice-to-have</li><li>An affinity for back-end development with some front-end experience</li><li>Experience using Kanban or Scrum methodologies</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Nice to Have:</b></p><p><b> </b></p><ul><li>Experience using cloud platforms such as AWS</li><li>Experience with behavior-driven development</li><li>Knowledge of the mining industry or related sectors</li></ul><p><br></p><p><b>Education & Eligibility:</b></p><p><b> </b></p><ul><li>Bachelor Degree in Computer Science/Systems/Electronics/Software Engineering or equivalent</li><li>Must be eligible to work in Canada</li><li>This role may require some international travel ( </ul><p></p>
