This role operates on day shift and focuses on industrial electrical installation, wiring, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance within a shop environment. We are ideally seeking a licensed electrician (442A or 309A), but are also open to candidates in their 3rd or 4th year of apprenticeship with relevant industrial experience.</p><p>This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organization known for its strong culture, supportive team environment, and long-term career growth.</p><p><br /></p><p><strong>ADVANTAGES</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive pay range $35-45/hr</li><li>Day shift, Monday to Friday (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)</li><li>Permanent position based in Burlington</li><li>Opportunity for advancement and career development</li><li>Supportive, team-oriented work environment</li><li>Comprehensive benefits package including RRSP matching, medical, and dental</li><li>Tool and safety boot allowance</li><li>Company events and positive workplace culture</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>RESPONSIBILITIES</strong></p><ul><li>Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and applicable electrical codes</li><li>Determine layouts for industrial electrical equipment installations</li><li>Perform conduit layout and installation, panel building, and integration of accessories such as radio remotes and safety limit systems</li><li>Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems</li><li>Conduct preventative maintenance and maintain accurate service and maintenance records</li><li>Inspect equipment to identify defects, faults, and malfunctions</li><li>Determine the scope of required repairs and replace or adjust defective components</li><li>Test repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance</li><li>Monitor electrical component inventory levels and track component usage</li><li>Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment</li><li>Perform other duties as assigned</li></ul><p><br /></p><p><strong>REQUIREMENTS</strong></p><ul><li>3–4 years of experience as an industrial electrician or similar role</li><li>Licensed 442A or 309A Electrician preferred; 3rd or 4th year apprentices will be considered</li><li>Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude</li><li>Experience with industrial electrical systems and material handling equipment</li><li>Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and control systems</li><li>Comfortable working at heights and in elevated areas</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</li><li>Willingness to work overtime and be on-call as required</li><li>Reliable transportation</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>#INDSTRIVEON</strong></p><p><strong>#LI-SR</strong></p><p><br /></p></p></p>
