We provide the best management team, a friendly work environment, and the opportunity for advancement within the organization.</p><br /><p>Summary:</p><p>Reporting to the Service Manager this role is hands-on and requires leadership abilities within the automotive repair shop. This individual is highly organized and is responsible for overseeing shop operations while also performing high-level repair, diagnostic, and maintenance work on vehicles. The role combines management duties, such as supervising a team of technicians, with expert level technical tasks, ensuring that the shop runs smoothly and customer vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively, while providing guidance and mentorship to junior technicians.</p><p>Job Responsibilities:</p><ul><li><p>Communicate promptly with your service manager regarding any issues in the shop to ensure they are addressed effectively and professionally.</p></li><li><p>Supervise and lead a team of automotive service technicians to ensure all repairs and maintenance are completed to the highest quality and safety standards.</p></li><li><p>Perform diagnostic assessments and repair vehicles as needed, determine if additional safety or service work is required through vehicle inspections </p></li><li><p>Assign tasks and work priorities to team members based on their skill levels and abilities, ensuring timely completion of service orders.</p></li><li><p>Ensure adherence to manufacturer specifications and industry standards.</p></li><li><p>Train, mentor, and provide guidance to junior technicians, fostering a positive work environment and promoting professional development.</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate repair orders, documenting work completed, and ensure accurate reporting of vehicle status and issues.</p></li><li><p>Oversee the maintenance of shop equipment and tools, ensuring that they are in proper working order.</p></li><li><p>Other duties as assigned by management.</p></li></ul><p><br />Continuous Learning & Improvement:</p><p>We are committed to our employee’s continuous learning and development and as such, training is provided through orientation, self-assessments, coaching sessions and demonstrations with managers. </p><br /><p>Ideal Requirements:</p><ul><li><p>Automotive Technician Red Seal Certification</p></li><li><p>Valid Driver&#39;s License MANDITORY</p></li><li><p>5+ years of experience in automotive service and repair, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.</p></li><li><p>Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills across a wide range of vehicles.</p></li><li><p>Excellent leadership and team management skills.</p></li><li><p>Ability to mentor and develop less experienced technicians.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency with shop tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques.</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of safety procedures and dealership policies.</p></li><li><p>Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and customer service skills.</p></li></ul><p>Why Work for Twin Motors Auto Group: </p><ul><li><p>Competitive Compensation Package & Group Health Benefits </p></li><li><p>Training & Development Support </p></li><li><p>EAP Online Health</p></li><li><p>Vehicle Purchase & Service Incentives </p></li><li><p>Opportunities for Career Advancement </p></li><li><p>Employee events</p></li><li><p>Employee recognition & rewards </p></li><li><p>Fun & Supportive Culture</p></li></ul><p>We thank all applicants in advance; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
