We hire <strong>“A” Players</strong>—people who are self-motivated, resourceful, and thrive when given responsibility.</p><hr /><strong>Role Overview</strong><p>Reporting to the Field Operations Manager, the Site Superintendent is responsible for executing the concrete scope of assigned projects safely, on time, and within budget. This includes supervising employees, sub-contractors, and suppliers, while ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and client satisfaction.</p><hr /><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li><p>Lead day-to-day site activities and supervise workers, sub-contractors, and site visitors</p></li><li><p>Manage project schedules and resources to ensure milestones are met</p></li><li><p>Coordinate construction activities with prime contractors and trade partners</p></li><li><p>Provide leadership and development for Pagnotta employees, including performance reviews and training</p></li><li><p>Enforce company and legislative safety policies and procedures</p></li><li><p>Conduct inspections, quality control, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications</p></li><li><p>Maintain accurate project documentation (RFIs, as-builts, site reports, etc.)</p></li><li><p>Support hiring efforts by interviewing potential new site employees</p></li><li><p>Oversee the use and maintenance of company equipment and tools</p></li></ul><hr /><strong>Qualifications</strong><ul><li><p>Red Seal trade certification (carpentry preferred)</p></li><li><p>Gold Seal Certification (asset)</p></li><li><p>10+ years of on-site construction experience, specializing in <strong>formwork concrete</strong> for commercial, high-rise, mixed-use, or institutional projects</p></li><li><p>3+ years of leadership experience as a superintendent or foreman</p></li><li><p>Strong knowledge of OH&S regulations and employment standards legislation</p></li><li><p>Proficient in reading structural, architectural, civil, and mechanical drawings</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills</p></li></ul><hr /><strong>Working Conditions</strong><ul><li><p>Standard 40 hours/week, with overtime and weekend work as required</p></li><li><p>Start time: 7:00 AM</p></li><li><p>Work at heights will be required</p></li></ul><hr /><p><strong><strong>Pagnotta Inc. is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.</strong></strong> We thank all applicants for their interest; however, only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.</p><p></p><p>Powered by JazzHR</p><p>rvbFImPQ9F</p></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
