Job Description
<p><p>Work Arrangement: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Markham Elevation Centre (MEC) three times per week, at minimum.</p><h3>Core Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>Create test scripts to test System Requirements, including automated and support through regression testing.</li>
<li>Analyze, review results and document failures, leading the resolution of defects.</li>
<li>Develop test methodologies to support new product development with alignment on direction and in collaboration with CI/CD development teams.</li>
<li>Provide feedback to team to capture requirements clearly within the Cosimulation environment.</li>
<li>Work alongside Functional System Architects, System Engineering teams to understand and implement test requirements.</li>
<li>Contribute to best practices for System tests, developing documentation and process improvement initiatives.</li>
<li>Participate in product reviews and demos.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Required Skills and Experience</h3>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor of Science degree in one of the following disciplines: Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.</li>
<li>Experience in propulsion thermal systems, with application to both software and/or hardware modeling is a strong asset.</li>
<li>Experience in programming/scripting (Python, C, C++).</li>
<li>Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) process and familiarity with Gherkin is an asset.</li>
<li>Experience with ETAS/INCA, Intrepid/Vehicle Spy or similar DAQ tools is an asset.</li>
<li>Working experience with MATLAB and Simulink is an asset.</li>
<li>Experience in automotive communication technologies such as CAN, LIN, automotive ethernet is an asset.</li>
<li>Excellent multi-functional communication and collaboration skills.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity while driving timely decisions.</li>
</ul>
