<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p>Our client in Chilliwack is looking to add an experienced and energetic Painter tojoin their Paint Department in Chilliwack.</p><p></p><p>The client designs, and manufactures the world's most secure weather tight marine closures or engineering support structures for bridges.</p><p></p><p>The Spray Painter is responsible for preparing paint materials, blending, cleaning & preparing various surfaces; spraying application while also maintaining the spray guns.</p><p></p><p><p><strong>You will:</strong></p><ul><li>Prep aluminum, gelcoat, epoxy primers for topcoat and primer application</li><li>Spray application with a HVLP gravity gun</li><li>Clean and maintain spray guns and other tools, work area, and materials</li><li>Maintain inventory of all paint materials</li><li>Sanding and finishing epoxy and polyester filler</li></ul><p><strong>You have:</strong></p><ul><li>3 - 5 years’ experience in spray application with primer and topcoat</li><li>Bodywork and equipment maintenance experience required</li><li>Marine experience preferred </li><li>Fiberglass and carbon fiber experience is considered an asset</li><li>Detail oriented</li><li>Knowledge of epoxy primers, topcoat, paint materials and paint preparation</li><li>Ability to do powder coat is considered an asset</li><li>Good interpersonal skills such as verbal/written communication and listening</li><li>Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.</li><li>Overtime as required.</li><li></li></ul></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
