<p><strong>Role: Structures Engineer</strong></p><p><strong>Customer location : Dorval, Quebec H4S 1Y9</strong></p><p><strong>Onsite </strong></p><p><strong>Fulltime</strong></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and contribute to <strong>structural design engineering activities</strong>, with emphasis on <strong>joiner structural design</strong> (experience in this area is an asset).</li><li>Collaborate with suppliers and act as the <strong>integrator for supplier-delivered work packs</strong>, ensuring readiness for final assembly.</li><li>Define, review, and validate <strong>Technical Requirements Documents (TRDs)</strong> and ensure alignment with program needs.</li><li>Participate in and provide expertise during <strong>Joint Definition Phase (JDP)</strong> and <strong>Joint Conceptual Definition Phase (JCDP)</strong> of development programs.</li><li>Identify, communicate, and manage design requirements to suppliers, ensuring quality and compliance with program objectives.</li><li>Provide <strong>technical guidance and mentorship</strong> to junior engineers, ensuring knowledge transfer and high-quality deliverables.</li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams, including stress, systems, manufacturing, and program management, to ensure seamless program execution.</li></ul><p>Interface requirement</p><p>PDR / CDR </p><p>Tool – Catia V5/V6 / Enova / PLM </p><p><strong>Required Qualifications & Experience</strong></p><ul><li><strong>15–20 years</strong> of experience in <strong>structural design engineering</strong> within the aerospace industry.</li><li>Strong <strong>supplier integration</strong> and collaboration experience, preferably with OEMs that act as integrators.</li><li>Hands-on experience with <strong>TRDs (Technical Request/Requirements Documents)</strong>.</li><li>Demonstrated involvement in <strong>JDP and JCDP phases</strong> of aircraft development.</li><li>Proficiency in industry-standard <strong>CAD/PLM tools</strong> (e.g., CATIA V5, 3DEXPERIENCE, etc.).</li><li>Strong understanding of <strong>aircraft structures, materials, and manufacturing processes</strong>.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Joiner structural design experience</strong>.</li><li>Exposure to multiple aircraft programs and complex global supply chains.</li></ul><p>Experience working in <strong>multi-cultural, distributed engineering environments</strong></p>
