<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p>Salary: <br /><p>Summary</p><p><br /></p><p>The position of Suspension Installer is responsible for installing suspensions and axles according to Titan specifications.<br />The Suspension Installer will be required to read and understand production drawings, blueprints, work orders and other written instructions.</p><p><br /></p><p>Job Duties</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Install various axles with suspensions (air ride or spring ride) for several varieties of Titan Trailers<br /></li><li>Mount tires</li><li>Weld or bolt components together</li><li>Work to drawing specifications and work orders<br /></li><li>Read and interpret blueprints<br /></li><li>Maintain safe work practices.<br /></li><li>Ensure accuracy and completion of assigned tasks and projects.<br /></li><li>Other assigned work as required.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Requirements</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.<br /></li><li>Ability to read and understand blueprints required<br /></li><li>Experience in MIG welding steel an asset</li><li>Ability to read tape measure and understand fractions required<br /></li><li>Willing to work overtime as required<br /></li><li>Must own reliable transportation and hold a valid drivers license<br /></li><li>Ability to work independently in a busy environment.<br /></li><li>Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment.<br /></li><li>Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.<br /></li><li>Able to work well under pressure.<br /></li><li>Strong attention to detail.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p></p><p>Work Conditions</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs<br /></li><li>Use overhead crane and forklift as required<br /></li><li>Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, welding helmet, leathers etc.<br /></li><li>Extremely busy environment must be able to work with little supervision<br /></li><li>Overtime as required.<br /></li><li>Hazards associated with the trade.</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>What we can offer you</p><p><br /></p><ul><li>Progressive Health and Safety program<br /></li><li>Interesting and challenging work<br /></li><li>Opportunity to support and build the best trailer on the road today<br /></li><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Annual Safety Shoe and Clothing allowance</li><li>Company paid benefits - RRSP program with Company matching - Employee and Family Assistance Program<br /></li><li>Skills development and training</li></ul><p><br /></p><p>Regular hours are 6:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 6:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday.</p><p><br /></p><p>The starting wage for this position is dependent on experience and training.Upon successful completion of a 6-month probationary period the candidate will be eligible to take part in our benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, and clothing / safety boot allowance.</p><p><br /></p><p><em>Titan Trailers Inc. strives to create a respectful, accessible and inclusive work environment.
