If you are we want to talk to you!</p><p>We are <strong>UpAuto</strong> and we specialize in rural market dealerships.</p><p>Our 6 Brands / Our Communities:</p><p><strong>Honda</strong> / Hanover and Stratford Ontario</p><p><strong>Subaru</strong> / Stratford Ontario</p><p><strong>GM</strong> / St. Marys and Ingersoll Ontario</p><p><strong>Volkwagen</strong> / Walkerton Ontario</p><p>If you have 2 years plus experience with any of these brands, we have a spot for you! Many of our techs are generating in excess of 130% efficiency every pay period and our markets are such that this type of money goes a lot further than in big city or suburban markets.</p><p>We are prepared to offer large signing bonuses and generous relocation allowances. Bonuses and relocation allowance will be commensurate with your experience.</p><p>Role Description:</p><p>Major Duties:</p><p>• Complete basic and advance mechanical repairs, (Tire installation, diagnosis etc.)</p><p>• Adhere to all Warranty Guidelines</p><p>• Create and edit descriptive repair stories.</p><p>• Utilize the 3 C’s Concern, Cause, and Correction</p><p>• Contact MFG where technical guidelines and advice are required.</p><p>• Completing Vehicle Maintenance based on MFG maintenance guidelines.</p><p>• Maintain Quality Control</p><p>• Interdepartmental Relations</p><p>• Work with Apprentices to help bring them along in their training.</p><p>• Willingness and ability to maintain current product and technical knowledge.</p><p>• Obtain appropriate technical certifications and training.</p><p>• Keep Service Managers and Advisors informed as</p><p>• Ability and desire to repair vehicles correctly the first time.</p><p>• Diagnose vehicle problems other than those on the work order or those described by the customer.</p><p>• Develop an understanding to estimate the time of service or repair job for purposes of efficient scheduling.</p><p>• Create Quotes in DMS for advisors to communicate with Customers.</p><p>• Ability to maintain communication with Service Consultants and the Parts Department</p><p>• Develop knowledge of approved and established procedures for conducting service and repairs</p><p>• Attain levels of competency by attending technical training schools and by reading and understanding service manuals, technical bulletins, etc.</p><p>• Knowledge of and ability to comply with the quality control & inspection requirements of the Service Dept.</p><p>• Ability to clock on and clock off when working on a repair.</p><p>• Contact with Service Consultants and customers from a variety of backgrounds.</p><p>• Contact people in all dealership departments.</p><p>• Considerable detail-oriented paperwork (documentation of repairs, charges, etc.)</p><p>• Liaise with technicians to get the most up-to-date information about all aspects of vehicles.</p><p>• Works closely with the Parts Department</p><p>• Learns to become a good communicator, immediately telling the Service Consultant and Parts Department if a part needs to be ordered and asking for clarification if a work order is not clear or seems incorrect.</p><p>• Knows the shop area and the availability of special tools that might be needed.</p><p>• Becomes detail-oriented & writes on the work order the repairs completed, the parts required, & the labour to be charged.</p><p>• Documents any other vehicle problems that were not noted during servicing.</p><p>• Responsible for helping keep Shop and Personal Workspace clean</p><p>• All other duties as requested by Service Manager</p><p></p><p><em></em></p></p></p>Create Your Resume First
