We are looking for a Store Manager for The Shoe Co. who will lead the store environment, foster inclusivity and develop the team to achieve store objectives, including in-store sales, web orders, recruiting, performance management, training and development. The role reports to the District Manager and requires problem solving, ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and strong leadership to execute operational excellence.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Assumes leadership role with accountability for maximizing store business results by creating exceptional customer experiences.</li><li>Facilitates achievement of business results by modeling a shopping experience with responsive customer service, compelling merchandise presentation and operational integrity to build customer connections and loyalty.</li><li>Lead an operationally sound business by balancing policies, shrink/loss prevention, payroll, reporting and scheduling.</li><li>Recruit, manage, develop, and train top talent who have a love of shoes.</li><li>Achieves company objectives and enhances The Shoe Co. brand image by modeling values of Passion, Accountability, Collaboration, and Authenticity/Humility.</li><li>Develops and implements agile business plans to achieve results.</li><li>Fosters teamwork, collaboration and change advocacy within the store and district.</li><li>Maintain effective, open lines of communication with Senior Operational Managers.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Educational background: relevant post-secondary education.</li><li>Minimum 4 years of experience in progressive retail supervisory role.</li><li>Proven success in achieving sales and profitability targets in large-volume top doors.</li><li>Positive and energetic team player with strong leadership capability.</li><li>Proven ability to motivate others.</li><li>Proficiency in computer use, including email, word processing and spreadsheet programs.</li><li>Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while creating a compelling customer experience.</li><li>Ability to work days, closing shifts and weekends.</li><li>Mobility within a geographic area.</li></ul><h3>Working here</h3><p>As a Designer Brands associate, you are eligible for:</p><ul><li>30% discount off regular-priced merchandise in stores.</li><li>Competitive benefits package (Full-Time Associates Only).</li><li>Paid Time Off (Personal Days & Vacation - Full Time Associates Only).</li><li>Flexible scheduling.</li><li>Monthly bonus potential and opportunities.</li><li>24/7 support through our Employee Assistance Program for counseling, work/life, legal and financial assistance, and more.</li><li>Unlimited opportunity for growth and training and development programs.</li><li>Open Door Policy and more.</li></ul><h3>Join our retail team</h3><p>Please advise our Human Resources team if you require an accommodation at any time during the recruitment process.
