We are dedicated to providing value-added construction services to our customers by creating a successful partnership with them throughout the construction process.We are currently seeking a <b>Tower Crane Operator </b>to assist with fast-paced, challenging projects in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan<b>.</b><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><ul><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Employer-paid health, dental and vision benefits for you and your family</li><li>Life insurance </li><li>Travel insurance</li><li>RRSP matching up to 4% of regular earnings</li><li>Year-round, full-time work</li><li>Opportunities for advancement - wage increases and promotions are regularly extended to those who take initiative, work hard and take pride in producing quality work</li></ul><span >Duties/Responsibilities</span><ul><li>Operate crane to lift, move or place construction equipment and materials.</li><li>Follow safe work procedures to assist the tower crane operator with lifting, lowering, or moving materials and loads.</li><li>Understand lifting and load bearing capacities of the tower crane.</li><li>Securing loads with suitable lifting equipment.</li><li>Communicate with operator via two-way radio and/or hand signals.</li><li>Signal and direct trucks on site for loading and offloading.</li><li>Inspecting rigging equipment.</li><li>Rig in decks and fly tables.</li><li>Inspect crane and calculate capacities</li><li>Fly tables </li><li>Assemble and dismantle</li><li>Perform repairs and maintenance</li></ul><p><strong>Working Conditions</strong></p><ul><li>Overtime after 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week</li><li>Overtime and work on weekends as required</li><li>Two paid 15 minutes breaks and one ½ hour unpaid lunch break per day</li><li>Working at heights</li></ul><p><strong>Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to work well in a team and independently</li><li>Positive attitude towards safety</li><li>Punctual and reliable</li><li>Self-motivated</li><li>Manual dexterity, mechanically inclined, physically fit</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>3-6 years experience operating tower cranes</li><li>2-4 years of tower crane rigging experience</li><li>Journeyman Tower Crane Operator Certificate or provincial equivalent</li><li>Rigging ticket considered an asset</li><li>Fall Protection ticket</li><li>CSTS required </li><li>WHMIS required </li></ul><strong>Only applicants who are eligible to work in Canada will be considered.</strong><p></p><p><br /> </p><p></p><p>Powered by JazzHR</p><p>8qC8Kct3GC</p></p></p>
