<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Position Summary:</strong><br />The Associate has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within warehouse. An integral part of the team, the Associate verifies the inventory quantity and assists in inventory level maintenance, maintains complete and accurate paperwork, and operates warehouse equipment in a safe manner.<br /><strong>Primary responsibilities of the Associate include:</strong></p><ul><li>Marks pallets with identifying store information</li><li>Pick and stage parts for store replenishment</li><li>Uses a hand-held radio frequency device (RF Scanner)</li><li>Having prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required</li><li>Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.</li><li>Use basic math accurately: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using</li><li>whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals</li></ul><p><strong>Shift Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Candidates must make a commitment to work their full scheduled shift.</li></ul><p><br />Physical requirements:<br />The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team<br />member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.</p><ul><li>Is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk and hear,</li><li>Is frequently required to stop, kneel and crouch or stoop,</li><li>Is occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance, and</li><li>Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50.</li></ul><p><strong>Work environment:</strong><br />The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those a team member encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member:</p><ul><li>Bending/Stooping and reaching into stationary totes to retrieve product</li><li>Standing/walking for extended periods of time</li><li>Many contractors convert to full time employees.
