<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><strong>Warehouse Operations Manager </strong><br><br> Our client is a national business in the warehousing and distribution space.<br><br> The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees daily warehouse operations in a unionized facility, ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant handling of materials, inventory, and personnel. This role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and the ability to maintain productive relationships within a unionized workforce while meeting operational goals. Lower Mainland, BC. <br><br><strong>Responsibilities: </strong><br /><ul><li>Lead and manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping to meet performance targets and customer requirements.</li><li>Ensure compliance with all labor agreements, company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements </li><li>Collaborate with union representatives and HR to address employee relations issues, grievances, and contract interpretation in a fair and consistent manner.</li><li>Optimize operational efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives, process enhancements, and effective use of warehouse management systems (WMS).</li><li>Develop and mentor warehouse supervisors and staff, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety awareness.</li><li>Other as required</li></ul><strong>Requirements: </strong><br /><ul><li>Post Secondary in operations or equivalent years of experience.</li><li>5-10+ years of warehouse leadership experience, preferably in a unionized or labor-represented environment.</li><li>Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management systems, and labor relations practices.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance operational needs and employee relations.</li></ul> Salary in the 100-110,000 range base salary.<br><br>If this exciting opportunity sounds like it could be of interest to you, please send us your resume today!</p></p>
