<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><b>Description</b></p><p>We have an immediate opening for a Shift Supervisor at our<strong> Corner Brook, Newfoundland</strong> Terminal.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Full-time Overnights: Sunday to Thursday 9:30pm-7am</strong></p><p> </p><p>Job Duties entail:</p><ul><li>Responsible for <span >overseeing/addressing</span> any safety concerns and assure compliance with all policies</li><li>Able to plan, assign and supervise all work related to shipping, receiving and storing goods</li><li>Assist in the training of new staff</li><li>Ensure proper equipment is utilized and facilitate units for loading/unloading</li><li>Ensure expectations are met to attain Reweigh & Cube goals</li><li>Attend any planned meetings and respond to correspondence & voice mails within agreed timelines</li></ul><p>What we need from you:</p><ul><li>A Willingness to Work! Dependability & a Good Attitude are key</li><li>Reliable Transportation - must be living in the area</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office, Experienced with technology (understanding of the Truck Mate system is an asset)</li><li>Ability to use scanners, paperwork where required</li><li>Experience operating a counterbalance forklift</li><li>Responsible to watch for/address any safety concerns</li><li>Strengths in Conflict Resolution, Time Management, Multi-tasking </li><li>Ability to work Safely in a fast-paced team environment </li><li>Safety boots/shoes</li><li>Clean criminal background</li></ul><p></p><p>How to Apply:</p><p>Submit a Resume!</p><p> </p><p><i>Armour Transportation Systems is an award-winning, world-class transportation and logistics company.
