Your care and attention to detail will ensure that all visitors have a pleasant visit in the Park.H2O Innovation is known for its state-of-the-art water and wastewater treatment systems as well as providing water and wastewater plant operations and maintenance management support across North America. <br><br><strong>The Benefits</strong></p><p>Overall remuneration including: <ul><li>Group insurance plan;</li><li>RRSP;</li><li>Share Purchase Plan;</li><li>Vacation and sick days.</li></ul></p><p><strong>The Day-to-Day</strong></p><p>Reporting to the Operations Lead and Project Manager, the Water & Wastewater Plant Operator will be responsible for: <ul><li>Ensure safe, compliant, and consistent operation of all water and wastewater treatment plants;</li><li>Operation and maintenance of the treatment plants, sludge processing systems, and pumping stations according to related Government standards;</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of the collection and distribution systems as well as the plants;</li><li>Creation and initiation of work orders for operational servicing and repairs;</li><li>Preparation and delivery of activity and work orders for preventative and corrective maintenance;</li><li>Ordering of goods and equipment, and maintain inventory;</li><li>Submission of Reports to government agencies, departments, and other organizations as required;</li><li>Ability to communicate effectively with other personnel and supervisors;</li><li>Provide guidance and support to plant team members;</li><li>Maintain and execute training for operations personnel to develop required knowledge and skills;</li><li>Communicate with the operators, client and management on issues that may potentially affect the treatment process, compliance or public health;</li><li>Support water and wastewater treatment projects. Support with the development of project plans, SOP’s, justify and execute project requests;</li><li>Support and maintain positive operator and customer relationships and communications;</li><li>Ensure strategic market development and growth;</li><li>Other duties as assigned.<br><br></li></ul></p><p><strong>The Skills We Are Looking for</strong><ul><li>A minimum of Level 1 in Water and Wastewater Treatment disciplines is desired; OIT will be considered</li><li>Experience operating and maintaining Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants and related equipment required;</li><li>Must be flexible and demonstrate a dedication to the position and to public services;</li><li>Computer literate with ability to use Microsoft Word, and Excel;</li><li>Valid Alberta Driver’s License required;</li><li>Must be able to perform on-call support services on rotation</li><li>Excellent and professional oral and written communication skills.</li></ul></p><p><strong>Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to): </strong><ul><li>Walking & Standing: 4-8 hr/day;</li><li>Bending & Reaching: 4-8 hr/day;</li><li>Pushing & pulling: 4-8 hr/day;</li><li>Driving 4-6 hr/day;</li><li>Physical Effort: does not lift weights more than 100 lbs;</li><li>Environmental Stress: busy atmosphere, working inside and outside.</li></ul></p><p><strong>Work Environment:</strong><ul><li>Work is performed indoors and outdoors in often harsh weather conditions.<br><br>#Canada (O&M)<br />#ZR</li></ul></p></p></p>
