We’re recruiting safety-focused, dependable, organized, and customer-oriented individuals to join our amazing team and deliver routes in Edmonton and surrounding areas. We love delivering packages, but we love seeing customers smile even more!</p><p>We are looking for experienced box truck drivers who are interested in joining our team on a casual, part-time basis with the opportunity for extra shifts during the busy peak season</p><p>Duties</p><ul><li>Safely drive and operate a commercial vehicle with a rated capacity of 4500 kg or more</li><li>Use a mobile device for routing information and customer delivery information</li><li>Navigate a variety of routes throughout the delivery area</li><li>Work with a delivery helper to load and unload packages</li><li>Provide white glove or enhanced delivery service as required</li><li>Enthusiastically and responsibly represent our company&#39;s dedication to accuracy, safety, and excellence in customer service</li></ul><p>Hours of Work, Schedules & Training</p><ul><li>Start time approximately 4:30 am</li><li>10 hour shifts</li><li>We deliver Monday to Saturday</li><li>Comprehensive delivery skills and safety training provided</li></ul><p>Compensation & Benefits</p><ul><li>Hourly rate is $25.00</li><li>Flexible schedule, up to 30 hours per week</li><li>Opportunity for extra shifts during Peak Season (October to January)</li><li>Growth opportunity for regular full time</li></ul>Qualifications<br><br><ul><li>Minimum 21 years of age</li><li>2 years of commercial driving (box truck) required</li><li>Experience with professional moving and/or appliance installation an asset</li><li>Class 5 driver&#39;s license and clean driving record, CDL preferred</li><li>Able to team lift up to 68 kg (150 lbs), with or without reasonable accommodation</li><li>Able to get in and out of a box truck, and walk up and down stairs throughout a 10-hour shift</li><li>Comfortable driving and working outdoors in all seasons</li><li>Ability to use various mobile and computer applications</li></ul><br><br>Additional Information<br><br><p>Anderson Last Mile is committed to fair and equal treatment of employees and applicants.
