<p>Our client, Purolator, is seeking a Licensed <strong>Diesel Mechanic</strong> to join their team in Edmonton, AB. The ideal candidate will have a Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanics License and Class 5 Driver's License with a clean driving history.</p>

<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Diagnose and repair on- / off-road and heavy duty vehicles and equipment to meet preventative maintenance schedules, ensure proper function, and meet vehicle safety and quality goals
<li>Assist with entering data in the mechanic’s maintenance and repair database (e.g., Web Fleet Assistant (WFA))
<li>Communicates concerns or escalates unusually complex or persistent problems to the Foreman or other manager
<li>Responds to service calls for equipment breakdowns when no supervisor is available to assist in diagnosing and resolving mechanical issues arising from the Control Room, Dispatch, or Drivers

<strong>Qualifications</strong>

<ul>
<li>Certified Red Seal Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanics license
<li>Valid Class 5 Driver's License (Class 1 preferred)
<li>3 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic is required 
<li>Prior experience with computerized maintenance systems & procedures
<li>The ability to diagnose and repair mechanical/electrical problems with minimum vehicle downtime
<li>Demonstrated ability to work alone in fast paced environment
<li>A clear driving history and criminal history
<li>Must be able to perform annual safeties (CVIP)
