Dispatch & Transportation Coordination
- Dispatch and coordinate bookings for clients and carriers for pickups and deliveries
- Monitor shipment status and proactively address delays or issues
- Communicate load details, schedules, and requirements clearly to drivers and carriers
- Track loads using TMS, spreadsheets, or internal systems
Customer Service
- Serve as a primary point of contact for customers regarding shipments, scheduling, and general inquiries
- Provide timely updates and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through clear communication and reliability
Warehousing Support
- Coordinate inbound and outbound warehouse shipments
- Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure accurate receiving, storage, and shipping
- Assist with inventory-related questions and documentation
Administrative & Operational Tasks
- Enter and maintain accurate shipment, customer, and carrier data
- Prepare and review dispatch paperwork, BOLs, and delivery confirmations
- Support billing and documentation processes as needed
- Follow company procedures and help improve operational efficiency
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, transportation, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication skills (phone, email, and text)
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and logistics software (TMS/WMS a plus)
- Attention to detail and strong follow-through
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
