<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>We are hiring a Field Service Technician in Richmond Hill, Ontario!</strong></p><p></p><p><strong>Job Description</strong></p><p>Join our team as a Field Service Technician, where you will have the opportunity to service and perform basic training on all machinery. You will troubleshoot both electronic and mechanical problems using the proper basic testing equipment, such as multimeters or oscilloscopes. This role requires travel by car or airplane to customer and dealer facilities, handling on-site equipment malfunctions and service issues with excellent communication skills. You will document all work in a legible and technically sound manner, and submit service and expense reports for reimbursement.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Service and perform basic training on company&#39;s machinery.</li><li>Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical problems on-site using testing equipment.</li><li>Travel to customer and dealer facilities by car or airplane.</li><li>Handle on-site customer complaints regarding equipment malfunctions.</li><li>Communicate technical analysis and solutions to customers and internal management.</li><li>Document work and submit service and expense reports for reimbursement.</li></ul><p><strong>Essential Skills</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting and repair.</li><li>Field service experience with a working knowledge of CAD/CAM systems, materials, tooling, and end mills.</li><li>CNC troubleshooting and servicing experience.</li><li>Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.</li><li>Experience with EDM machines (reverse welding machines).</li><li>1-2 years of experience, including recent graduates.</li><li>Customer service aptitude and ability to represent the company well.</li><li>Proficiency with hand tools, electronics, blueprints, wiring, installation, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.</li></ul><p><strong>Additional Skills and Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Ability to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, copiers, and faxes.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.</li><li>Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with integrity and ethics.</li><li>Self-motivated, able to work independently, and handle stressful situations calmly.</li><li>Technical curiosity and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Detail-oriented with the ability to complete work in a manufacturing environment.</li></ul><p><strong>Why Work Here?</strong></p><p>Enjoy the benefits of working with us, including the freedom to travel with reimbursement options, and opportunities for pay increases at six months and one year, depending on your aptitude.</p><p><strong>Work Environment</strong></p><p>You will work in a dynamic environment requiring personal protective equipment such as gloves, plastic aprons, face shields, eye shields, and goggles. Work hours are 9-5, ensuring you&#39;re always home for dinner. Start your day at home once you&#39;re comfortable with the work. Travel across Ontario is required, with occasional trips outside the province. A company vehicle is provided, which must be returned to the office unless you have an early start.
