The Role
We are currently hiring Pallet Builders to join a fast-paced manufacturing company located in Smithville. This role involves building wooden pallets using a pneumatic nail gun, working with raw lumber, and meeting daily production targets. This role is ideal for someone looking for steady long-term work. This is a great temp-to-permanent role with a great company that cares about your work and you personally.

Responsibilities
- Assemble wooden pallets according to specifications
- Operate a pneumatic nail gun safely and efficiently
- Measure, align, and secure wood components
- Inspect finished pallets for quality and accuracy
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Meet daily production goals
- Read blueprints to build wood products
- General warehouse duties
Requirements
- Experience using hand tools is preferred
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted; lifting is a regular activity
- Must have steel-toed boots/shoes ( Green Seal CSA Approved )
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle
- Have a great team attitude and willingness to help
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working in a loud environment
- Strong safety adherence, including wearing all provided PPE
- Comfortable standing and working on your feet for the entire shift
- Strong attention to safety and quality
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Manufacturing or construction experience is an asset
