Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Language: English Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible Minimum Education: High School Positions Available: 2 NOC Group: 73111- Glaziers NOC Job Title: Glazier Job Location: A Street Suite 7 Surrey, British Columbia V3W 1A2 Job Description: Review blueprints or specifications to determine work requirements for proper glass furniture and fixtures installation. Set up and take down ladders, scaffolding, and lifting equipment needed for glass installation work. Install pre-assembled metal or wood framework for windows or doors to befitted with glass panels, using hand tools. Measure and mark outlines or patterns on glass to indicate cutting lines. Measure, cut, fit and press anti-glare adhesive film to glass or spray glass with tinting solutions to prevent light glare. Grind and polish glass, smooth edges when necessary. Install shower doors, mirrors, glass railings, closet systems, and other custom glass products. Build and prepare metal frames for glass and mirror installations in buildings. Cut, assemble, fit and attach metal-framed glass enclosures for commercial and residential buildings such as showers, bathtubs, display cases, skylights, solariums, and other structures Repair and service existing glass systems, including seals and hardware. Replace broken or damaged glass in windows, doors, furniture, and fixtures. Communicate with customers to determine project requirements and provide cost estimates.
