                            Job Description
<p>Our client is seeking a highly skilled <strong>Millwright</strong> to join our Maintenance team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring our production equipment operates safely, efficiently, and reliably. You'll work closely with team members to meet departmental goals and uphold SOPs and regulatory standards.</p> <p><strong>Compensation:</strong> $40.50/hour (unlicensed) to $50.50/hour (licensed)</p> <p><strong>Work Schedule:</strong> Day or Night (includes $2.00/hour night premium)</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ul><li>Maintain a clean and hazard-free work area.</li><li>Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.</li><li>Follow all safety protocols, including LOTO procedures.</li><li>Assemble and install equipment using hand/power tools.</li><li>Perform additional duties as needed to meet operational demands.</li><li>Inspect equipment to identify irregularities and perform corrective actions.</li><li>Operate lathes, milling machines, and welding equipment to fabricate parts.</li><li>Complete work orders by preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.</li><li>Support production teams during runtime to ensure optimal equipment performance.</li><li>Maintain and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and power transmission systems.</li><li>Read equipment manuals and blueprints to perform installations, troubleshooting, and repairs.</li></ul> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul><li>Continuous improvement mindset.</li><li>Availability for weekends and overtime.</li><li>Team-oriented with strong communication skills.</li><li>Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.</li><li>Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs.</li><li>Proven troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ticketed or Apprenticeship Level (3-4) in the Millwright trade.</li><li>Skilled in lathes, milling machines, and welding (ARC, TIG, MIG)</li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.</li><li>Minimum 3 years' experience in high-speed manufacturing (food industry preferred)</li></ul> <p><strong>Preferred Assets:</strong></p> <ul><li>Food manufacturing experience.</li><li>Electrical knowledge.</li></ul> <p><strong>Benefits & Perks:</strong></p> <ul><li><span >2 weeks' vacation to start.</span></li><li>5 paid sick days per year.</li><li>Benefits begin after probation.</li><li>$600 annual tool allowance.</li><li><span >$170 + tax boot allowance.</span></li><li><span ></span>$200 referral bonus for eligible candidates.</li><li>$2.00/hour night shift premium (9PM 6AM)</li><li><span >Up to 5% quarterly BTIP bonus based on company targets.</span></li><li><strong>Pension plan:</strong> 2% company match after 1 year, with increases based on age/service.</li></ul>Create Your Resume First
