<b>IT Business Systems Analyst (Agile / Scrum)<br></b>

Challenging hybrid role in the insurance industry for a professional with strong Agile and Scrum experience. Requires hands-on expertise with AWS or IBM FileNet and a background in system integration. Collaborate on strategic digital transformation initiatives in a dynamic, cross-functional environment based in Markham.<br>

<br>• Salaried: $75-85 per hour.<br>
<br>• Incorporated Business Rate: $90-95 per hour.<br>
<br>• 10-month contract.<br>
<br>• Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.<br>
<br>• Hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of 3 days per week on-site at the Markham office.<br>
<br>• Flexibility to work extended hours as needed to meet key project deadlines.<br>

<b>Responsibilities:</b><b><br></b>
<br>
<br>• Understand the business problem the project is tasked with solving and ensure the project team remains aligned with this goal.<br>
<br>• Define and manage project scope in collaboration with stakeholders.<br>
<br>• Develop business workflows and produce AS-IS and TO-BE diagrams using MS Visio.<br>
<br>• Monitor and continuously review sprint plans, optimizing where applicable.<br>
<br>• Support roadmap design, project planning, and prioritization.<br>
<br>• Organize and lead working sessions and project update meetings across various organizational levels.<br>
<br>• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver high-quality project outputs.<br>
<br>• Identify project issues or roadblocks and outline steps for resolution and mitigation.<br>
<br>• Provide feedback and recommendations for process and project improvements.<br>
<br>• Demonstrate ownership and end-to-end accountability for project success.<br>
<br>• Communicate project vision effectively and drive results in a fast-paced environment.<br>
<br>
<b>What you will need to succeed:</b><b><br></b>
<br>
<br>• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.<br>
<br>• Certification or experience as a Scrum Master is preferred.<br>
<br>• 4–6 years of experience in a business systems analysis or equivalent role.<br>
<br>• Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum delivery.<br>
<br>• Experience working with integration systems related to data, finance, and risk modeling.<br>
<br>• Proficiency with AWS or IBM FileNet.<br>
<br>• Strong understanding of insurance industry practices and terminology.<br>
<br>• High level of business acumen and stakeholder management skills.<br>
<br>• Results-oriented, with consistent focus on business outcomes and benefits.<br>
