<b>Paralegal Assistant<br></b><br>
Take part in strategic corporate matters within an international law firm. Collaborative environment. Direct support to paralegals. Proficiency in both French and English required. Direct exposure to complex commercial transactions.<br>

<b>Responsibilities:</b><b><br></b>
<br>
<br>• Assist paralegals in preparing legal documents related to corporate files.<br>
<br>• File documents with federal and provincial government authorities.<br>
<br>• Update electronic and physical corporate minute books and records.<br>
<br>• Conduct searches in various government databases.<br>
<br>• Enter corporate data into the legal entity management system.<br>
<br>• Contribute to special projects and provide general administrative support.<br>
<br>• Manage correspondence, phone calls, printing, filing, and invoice processing.<br>
<br>• Communicate with third-party agents regarding billing and payment follow-ups.<br>
<br>
<b>What you will need to succeed:<br></b>
<br>
<br>• Attestation of College Studies (ACS) in legal secretarial studies, or a Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in office administration.<br>
<br>• Diploma of College Studies (DCS) in legal techniques and/or a certificate in law, considered an asset.<br>
<br>• 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role.<br>
<br>• Professional proficiency in both French and English in order to:<br>
<br>• Prepare documents and correspondence in both languages based on client needs.<br>
<br>• Communicate effectively with English- and French-speaking stakeholders in Quebec and elsewhere.<br>
<br>• Ensure accurate handling of files involving varied linguistic requirements.<br>
<br>• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Acrobat Pro.<br>
<br>• High level of attention to detail, organization, and accuracy.<br>
<br>• Ability to manage priorities and work under tight deadlines.<br>
<br>• Team-oriented mindset and professionalism.<br>
