<h3>Job Description</h3><p>Job Description<p><p><strong>Job Title:</strong> <strong>Project Accountant<br />Location:</strong> Richmond, BC<br /><strong>Job Type:</strong> Full-time (In-Office)<br /><strong>Salary:</strong> $65,000-$80,000K Based on Experience<br><br>Our client is a full-service development company known for designing and building high-quality multi-family homes that combine luxury, livability, and thoughtful integration with the surrounding community.<br><br><strong>Overview:</strong><br />Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and driven <strong>Project Accountant</strong> to support full-cycle accounting for real estate development projects. This role plays a key part in tracking project costs, managing financial reporting, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy from project inception to completion.<br><br><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage job costing, project budgets, and financial forecasts</li><li>Perform full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR and general ledger management</li><li>Monitor and report on construction costs and cash flow</li><li>Prepare internal and external financial reports</li><li>Support draw processes and ensure lender compliance</li><li>Assist with audits, internal controls, and regulatory filings</li><li>Collaborate with development, construction, and project teams</li><li>Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor&#39;s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field</li><li>2–3 years of real estate development and construction accounting experience</li><li>Proficiency in SAGE or similar ERP systems; advanced Excel skills</li><li>Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills</li><li>CPA designation or working toward it is an asset</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with residential or mixed-use development projects</li><li>Valid BC driver&#39;s license</li></ul><p>Looking to interview and hire ASAP<br />JOB #16679516<br /></p><p>LI-TS1<br />TSSHP<br /></p></p></p>
