<p>The Senior Sales Director is responsible for driving substantial new business growth by developing strategic partnerships and expanding the company’s presence across key markets. This role leads the full sales cycle—from identifying opportunities and presenting solutions to overseeing program execution in collaboration with internal teams. The Director will build and manage a strong pipeline, promote the company’s comprehensive service offerings, and ensure successful delivery of client programs. <h3>Compensation Structure</h3>
<ul>
<li>$90,000.00 - CA$130,000.00 per year + benefits + 1-2% commission on new revenue</li>
<li>Expected Total Compensation: $160–250K+ for strong performers</li>
</ul>
<h3>Responsibilities</h3>
<ul>
<li>New Client Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and secure new private‑label opportunities with major retailers, specialty brands, and emerging DTC labels across Canada and the U.S.</li>
<li>Solution‑Based Selling: Present and promote the company’s full suite of services, including design development, technical packages, sampling, domestic manufacturing, global sourcing, and distribution.</li>
<li>Sales Pipeline Leadership: Build and maintain a large, active pipeline; manage all stages from first contact through program execution.</li>
<li>Seasonal Presentations: Deliver compelling seasonal concepts, fabric stories, and technical overviews to merchants, buyers, and product teams.</li>
<li>Cross‑Functional Partnership: Work closely with internal design, production, and sourcing teams to ensure programs are executed accurately and on schedule.</li>
<li>Travel: Ability to hold a valid passport. The successful candidate will attend buyer meetings, client visits, and key industry shows across North America (e.g., MAGIC, PROJECT, Outdoor Retailer).</li>
</ul>
<h3>Skills/Qualifications</h3>
<ul>
<li>8+ years of successful experience in private‑label apparel sales, preferably with expertise in outerwear or technical/lifestyle product categories.</li>
<li>Strong network of active relationships with buyers at high‑profile retailers and brands (e.g., premium, performance, and fashion labels).</li>
<li>Deep understanding of both domestic manufacturing processes (including Made‑in‑Canada production) and international sourcing models.</li>
<li>Proven ability to oversee and grow high‑value private‑label programs and deliver multi‑million‑dollar revenue results.</li>
<li>Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.</li>
<li>Highly organized, self‑motivated, and able to excel in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial mindset.</li>
