Job Description
**Responsibilities**
- Provide counsel to business owner clients regarding a comprehensive range of business and tax opportunities, including succession planning, wealth transfer planning, and tax compliance. Â
- Manage and supervise the engagement team that focuses on partnership, corporate, and trust entities. This includes the planning and execution of client tax engagements. Â
- Anticipate client needs and collaborate with colleagues in specialized tax areas, as well as across various lines of business, to cultivate client relationships and foster growth. Â
- Offer leadership, training, and career mentorship to staff and supervisor-level team members. Â
- Drive and collaborate with senior leadership on identifying and pursuing growth opportunities with both existing clients and prospective clients. Â
- Develop and maintain robust relationships with clients and other professional advisors through a commitment to exceptional client service. Â
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related business field. Â
- CPA license or its equivalent.Â
- A minimum of seven years of experience in public accounting with a focus on taxation and/or private client taxation, including recent experience in managing client engagements. Â
- Proficient in the taxation of entities, including partnerships, corporations, and trusts, as well as in estate and individual taxation. Â
- Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Â
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Completion of CPA in-depth courses and/or a master's degree in taxation. Â
- Experience in taxation pertaining to private clients or businesses, coupled with a desire to enhance skills in the private client sector. Â
