Job Description
Brandt is currently looking for a Field Heavy Equipment Technician - Material Handling for our Lloydminster location. The Heavy Equipment Technician Material Handling independently performs basic/complex diagnostics, service maintenance and repair work on customer and/or dealer-owned equipment on an efficient basis. Resolves customer issues to their satisfaction on a timely basis.
Responsibilities
- Work within budgets and approvals provided by the Service Manager.
- Maintain a high level of productivity, efficiency, and gross margin.
- Accurately record all work done for customer and warranty records.
- Maintain current product knowledge of equipment specific to industry/branch location.
- Perform basic/complex power equipment diagnostics to determine repair needs.
- Diagnose and repair all related systems (disassembly, assembly, and repair).
Required Skills
- Outstanding knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic systems and propane systems.
- Demonstrated diagnostic skills to understand mechanical and electrical systems of battery and engine powered material handling equipment.
- Experience with the use of hand tools and measuring devices, and electrical/electronic diagnostic tools/measurements.
