Canadian Coin & Currency serves a national customer base from our primary showroom located in Richmond Hill, Ontario. As Canadas largest collector coin retailer, the company operates both in-store and online at cdncoin.com. Canadian Coin & Currency is also an authorized distributor of collector coins for the Royal Canadian Mint. With a team of about 10 employees, every role is valued, contributing to a strong and collaborative team environment.


Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to support our operations team. In this role, you will be reporting to the Shipping Manager. You will be responsible for accurately receiving, organizing, packing, and shipping products while maintaining inventory accuracy and a safe, efficient work environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damage
  • Accurately pick, pack, and ship orders according to company standards
  • Prepare shipping labels, documentation, and coordinate with carriers
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
  • Organize and maintain a clean, orderly shipping and receiving area
  • Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times

Requirements

  • 2+ years of previous shipping and receiving experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of shipping and customs documentation
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills for inventory and shipping systems
  • Punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Available to work weekdays and weekends, based on department and company needs

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent. Active Vacancy
Salary: $50,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 40 per week
