Overview
The VP of Marketing will own brand strategy, growth, and go-to-market execution for a category-defining creator platform. This leader will build a scalable, data-driven marketing engine that fuels acquisition, activation, and retention—guiding creators and media companies to value quickly and consistently.
Responsibilities
- Build and lead an end-to-end marketing strategy that positions Made as the definitive platform for creators and media companies.
- Own the full marketing funnel, scaling both organic and paid acquisition channels with a strong focus on conversion and activation.
- Translate core value propositions into clear, compelling messaging that differentiates the platform and drives adoption.
- Lead GTM strategy and execution in partnership with Product, developing scalable launch frameworks and clear upgrade paths.
- Establish a culture of measurement, using analytics and experimentation to optimize performance across channels.
- Own paid media, performance marketing, SEO, lifecycle and marketing automation to maximize reach, engagement, and ROI.
- Scale an authentic creator community through content, social, partnerships, and advocacy to drive engagement and retention.
- Recruit, develop, and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering innovation, accountability, and collaboration.

Qualifications
- 10+ years of marketing experience, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role at a high-growth SaaS company (B2C or prosumer preferred)
- Proven success building organic growth engines (content, SEO, community) from the ground up
- Strong experience working with complex AI technology products
- Deep experience in product-led growth environments, driving measurable activation, engagement, and retention
- Strong product marketing and positioning expertise with exceptional storytelling skills
- Highly data-driven with strong analytics and performance marketing fluency; hands-on experience with modern MarTech stacks (e.g., HubSpot, SEO tools, marketing automation, CRM platforms)
- Exceptional communicator and people leader with experience scaling teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
