<p>Job Description:<br><br>We are looking for a Skilled Labourer / Carpenter / Handyman type person to join our team.</p><p>Essential Skills and Qualifications:</p><ul><li>Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in the construction industry.</li><li>Strong expertise in both rough and finish carpentry, with a deep understanding of construction techniques and best practices.</li><li>Proven ability to successfully manage small to mid-sized construction projects.</li><li>Solid knowledge of other building trades and how they integrate into projects.</li><li>Must hold a valid NS Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract to operate company vehicles, including pickups and trailers.</li><li>Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Highly detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.</li><li>Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.</li><li>Teachable, open to feedback, and eager to grow alongside the team.</li><li>Must live locally and be able to reliably commute daily to Hammonds Plains for morning start times.</li></ul><p>Additional Skills (an asset, but not required):</p><ul><li>General handyman abilities and versatility across different trades.</li><li>Experience with drywall, tiling, paint, etc.</li><li>Experience operating heavy machinery.</li><li>Experience driving with trailers.</li></ul><p>About Us:<br><br>We are a dynamic renovation and excavation business, taking on a variety of exciting projects—from landscaping to home renovations and even new construction.
